Improving competitiveness in costing while maintaining research quality is Consumer Search's focus all the time. Recently we have adopted new devices to enhance work efficiency, implying lower costing for clients:

 

- Online counting system: an online tool for outdoor interviewers to update the household contact status/ interview progress online every day once upon fieldwork execution, eliminating the need to wait for the completed questionnaires to be returned by the interviewers probably a few days after fieldwork is done; supervisors can then keep abreast of fieldwork progress

- Optical Mark Reading (OMR) system: the right tool for scanning and recording answers of close-ended questions in bulk; we are using it on a government project involving around 160,000 samples
